Student Mentor / Educational Assistant
Dreambuilders High School
Applications will be received for the position of Student Mentor. This is a full-time temporary position at Dreambuilders High School in Yorkton for the 2026-2027 school year. Duties for this position will commence on August 27, 2026, or on a date as mutually agreed. Performance responsibilities for this position include:
- Work to increase overall First Nation and Métis graduation rates through advising and supporting students and their families; and
- Enhance linkages to the First Nations and Métis communities.
- Provide support for students in grades 9-12.
The following would be considered assets for this position:
- The ability to work independently, organize and communicate with students, and demonstrate flexibility;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Familiarity and understanding of the Catholic faith and First Nations spirituality; and
- A valid driver’s license.
