Christ the Teacher Catholic Schools invites applications for the position of School Counsellor with the Division. This is a full-time continuing position with duties commencing August 26, 2026.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Support and promote the aims and objectives of Catholic Education and the goals of the Division.
- Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W) degree.
- Comprehensive knowledge of counselling strategies and skills for working with children and their families in the school setting.
- Excellent team building skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under occasional stress.
- Availability to work after hours during emergencies.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to provide own transportation to travel to schools.
- Prior experience in school counselling is preferred.
Candidates are asked to forward a resume outlining social work / counselling experience, qualifications, three references, and a recent criminal record check (within the last 12 months).
