Sacred Heart High School went to Saskatoon on April 6-7th to compete at the 19th annual Provincial Skills Competition.  The venue was held at the CNH building.  Students had the opportunity to compete in various trade and technology areas against other students in High School from across the province.  The competition allowed students to showcase the talents that they have learnt at Sacred Heart High School.  Sacred Heart took 9 competitors in 6 competition areas.  Competitors from Sacred Heart included:  Olga Zotova for Baking; Remington Ostafie for Cabinet Making; Owen Shirtliffe for Carpentry; Austin Leis for Cooking; Sarah Martynuik, Anastasiya Fedchenko, Wyatt Kowalyshen and Grayson Vachon for TV Video Production; and Austin Walkington for Welding.

            Remington Ostafie won the Silver medal for Cabinet Making and Owen Shirtliffe won the Silver medal for Carpenty.  The young men showed that Sacred Heart has a strong woods program.
